July 22, 201312 yr In 1974 I bought a Lincoln Mark IV Gold Package with 6000 miles on it. I drove it 60,000 miles and parked it. I drove it on vacation and in parades.I moved to Colorado from Ohio and left it in a rented garage in Ohio. Then I realized that I would never bring it out here and if I did, I wouldn't  have room for it. So I decided to donate it to a cause. I belonged to the Viet Nam vets in my home county and they gladly took it. It sold on Ebay and the money is going to the homeless and needy vets there. A generous portion is also going to the Wounded Warrior Project Do you have an old car that you would like to donate? If so please think about donating it to a cause like the WWPAin't she a beaut

July 24, 201312 yr Wow, Ron. I wish I lived closer. That baby would likely have found it's way into my garage. What a beauty and what a wonderful idea!Gene'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton
