July 24, 201312 yr I went to the mill today to pick up the Walnut that was cut from the logs I took up a few weeks back. Was able to get 500 bd ft from the logs. It was getting a little late and it has rained here everyday since Saturday so it was a little too wet to pack the donkeys and take this to the stash. I felt like I did pretty good with what I got based on the logs I took up. Not too bad for 100.00! I guess this will get unloaded this weekend if the rain lets up. Some really nice looking grain in some of the boards. Gonna have to sticker it so it can get started drying. It's be next year before I get to make anything with this unless I take it to the kiln.
