August 5, 201313 yr comment_10675 That looks pretty good. When I made the slding door for our master bath I really wanted to do thw barn door style harware but it was way too pricey. The cost would have been close to $400 which was not going to happen. After a lot of searching online I went with a top mount door hardware that I could buy through Home Depot which coat me $100. It was easy to install and works great. I thwn made a wood valance with a shelf on top of it the cover the track. looks great and my wife is happy. When I get home and not using my cell phone I will post a pic of mine.Allen WorshamCorona, CAallenworsham@earthlink.net'Graze in every man's field, but always give your own milk.' J. August 6, 201313 yr comment_10673 Here are a few pics of the sliding door that I made for our Master Bath. Also, here is the link for the sliding door hardware that I used. I found the cheapest price was to buy it through Home Depot online and having it shipped to my home rather than picking it up at store. http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/100658033?productId=100658033&storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&MERCH=REC%2d%5f%2dproduct%2d1%2d%5f%2d100658056%2d%5f%2d100658033%2d%5f%2dN#.UgBy-BbKmfQ  Allen WorshamCorona, CAallenworsham@earthlink.net'Graze in every man's field, but always give your own milk.' August 6, 201313 yr comment_10672 Allen, How close does it fit to the wall?John MoodySite AdministratorJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com Report
August 6, 201313 yr comment_10671 You can adjust it to meet your specific needs. Being that I have base molding the door sits about 1/2"-5/8" from the wall to allow for clearance. The installation was pretty straight forward with decent written instructions and took me about an hour to mount the hardware to the door and wall. Allen WorshamCorona, CAallenworsham@earthlink.net'Graze in every man's field, but always give your own milk.'
