August 6, 201312 yr Tonight I was working on this cedar chest that has been in the shop for way too long. I needed to touch up the top edge and looked over at that No. 7 I got. I had not even looked at the blade till tonight. It was sharp and ready. So I had to give it a try and see what it would do on the long side of the cedar chest. I know it's cedar and it's soft, but wow what a wonderful sound of that wisp across that cedar. At the curls that came out, oh man. I had to also give the little 220 a try. I had sharpened the edge on it and wanted to see what it did. You know those kind of curls are easy to clean up. You can pick it all up and dump it in the garbage can. So glad I added that to my tool set! John MoodySite AdministratorJohn Moody Woodworkshttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com
