For over 20 years difficult situations often bring families to the Fisher House. However there is always life and laughter within their walls. Take a look inside as we pass major milestones, thanks to generous people like you.

1st Place - Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK




Every year 19,000 families pass through the doors of Fisher Houses across the world. Each with a loved one bringing them to their temporary "home away from home." We asked the Fisher Houses to share a glimpse of what a day in the life at their Fisher House is like, with our annual photo contest. Here are the winners.

Big Milestones for Fisher House


As of July 19 Fisher House has provided over 5 million nights of lodging to our military men and women, Veterans, and their families. 

 

Thanks to frequent flyers across the country, the Hero Miles program has now provided over 40,000 tickets to reunite wounded, injured, and ill service members with their families. 












Ollie Plunket Completes 24,000 Mile Trek


Eighteen year old Ollie Plunket from the UK, took a year off between high school and college to ride his motorcycle from Argentina to Alaska.

Along the way Ollie spoke about Fisher House and raised over $135,000 for the new Fisher House in the United Kingdom! He also had a chance to stop at US Fisher Houses along the west coast.
