Hi all,

Relatively new to wood working, about 1 1/2 years, beginning with scroll saw and now wood turning.  Joined the local wood turning club and it is fantastic!  

I'm also a retired vet. Anything I make all proceeds go to www.Healingheroes.com since they have helped me so much, more than the military could do.

Welcome Aboard Rex; Thought I left you a welcome this morning before I left to go do some shopping. I'm a computer BEEK not a GEEK so I can hunt and peck around the keyboard but I can make a mess of doing anything right so if You didn't get the Welcome from me I apologize. I also like to do turning but until I can learn to sharpen the turning tools I have just been making a mess with the wood that I am trying to turn.

Thanks to all of you for a great welcome. I won't be posting anything for a while because I will be on the road with the boss(wife); first going to Atlanta next week for a convention (dragoncon), then doing medical treatments north of Tampa starting in Sep for two months.
