Good afternoon. First thanks to all who welcome d me to the site. I will be 72 in January and am fully retired, well as retired as I can be since my wife works and I take up the slack at home. I spent 30 years in the military, 6 in thr US Marine Corps and 24 in the Navy Seabees. My passion is wood turning although I have built furniture and cabinets. I am a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and active with my council and assembly. I am also active in our church. I have two sons who are in the Marine Corps, one who is in Afganistan presently, both are career Marines. I will post some of my turnings later on. I think I enjoy this site. Thanks again.

Hello back atcha, Paul. And welcome. Glad to have someone else my age on here. There may be, but I never ask someone's age. I'm 72 and and proud to have made it this long.

Paul - welcome aboard - sounds like you have a very active retirement.  Don't let Wayne get you down with the "age" thing.  After all, I'm just a year older than you guys and I'm still going to craft shows.

Give our best to your sons.  I know that you are very proud of them.  And God speed getting them home safe and sound.

Again, welcome
