September 6, 201312 yr As many of you know we put out a calling for some woodworking and crafts items to be auctioned off to benefit a great organization that helps our veterans in crisis get off the street, into a job, and onto a relatively normal life. To see the full story and call for action, please check our discussion out at Combat Veterans In Crisis Need Your Help, Through Your Woodworking. Well, tomorrow is the big day!!!! Your items will be auctioned off at this black tie affair and all the proceeds will be used to help The Collaborative Courts Foundation help our veterans in crisis. I know many of you are anxious to learn what your item(s) brought in for our vets, and Catherine Helshoj of Laguna Tools has assured me she will send on a status update of how we did and how much we were able to raise for our vets. We'd like to personally thank the following folks who sent in their items to Catherine for the auction! I want to say how proud I am of the folks who came through on this, we were not given the most advanced notice of this auction for our vets, but we got on it and made it happen! Catherine assured us that next year she will give us ample notice ahead so we can prepare our woodworking for the next event. Thanks again Patriot Woodworkers!!!! John MorrisThe Patriot Woodworker
