More Information About Our Auction For Our Troops

media.nl?id=3&c=860860&h=cfc688dfb793e17Catherine Helshoj of Laguna Tools contacted us last week and told us the results and also gave us a link where we can see some images of the event. Interspersed throughout the slide show you'll see a table set up with our woodworking on it, unfortunately not everyone's work was photographed, they were so busy and the main focus was raising funds for our vets in crisis, and honoring the Judge who started this organization.

Please click on Collaborative Courts Foundation Slide Show and if you are prompted for a password, enter in "love". And enjoy!! Right off the bat I saw some pens our guys made, Ron Dudelston's box, a shelf I made, the bowl donated to us by master turner Edward Koenig almost a year ago to benefit an organization of our choosing, I had the bowl displayed in our home, waiting to donate it to the perfect cause, and this was it! To see the awesome work our friend Edward creates, please see his Edward Koenig Facebook Page.

You should all be receiving your tax form stating the value of the item you donated, I think the value they set forth on the document is what it went for at auction. I am happy to say my lil shelf racked up a top bid of 200 dollars!!!! And guess who purchased it, the Helshoj's!!! Torben loved it.

I would have posted the pictures here guys, but they are copyright protected, so you have to view them at the slide show.

Also, we were recognized in the event brochure, how cool is that!

Those are cool pics aren't they Lew! That was really one humdinger of a black tie affair! I am currently asking for a breakdown of what you all raised, if I can get it, I'll send it off to each and everyone of you what your items were auctioned off for, and if you'd like, you can come back here and share what your art work fetched!!!!

Great work back at ya Charles!

I imagine they might send the $ amount to each judging from the paper work I had to fill out and return.

Thanks John :) that would indeed be great if we could get them to give us a breakdown on what each piece brought in. Next year I plan on being ready for this even more than I was this year. hopefully we will get a few months more notice. Do we know if it it's held at the same time each year? If so then that would be easy to plan for.
