metabo angle grinder

Got a 4" model a while back.  I've used it for a few months and I gotta say it is a really sweet little hand held tool.  Sips through pretty much anything in astonishing time. I've cut steel as thick as 5/8  round bar and  3/8 flat stock and thinner: zipidee-doo-dah.

I might have liked the  paddle switch on other models, but I use the lock-on switch on this one rather a lot.  Some complain about the switch because it takes some effort to engage it, but it is effortless to shut it off. The tool-less cutter change is great.

I first got the Horrible Fright angle grinder tool.  It was so utterly worthless that it was worse than worthless. IT was trash right out of the box.  They did take it back and refund so that's good.

So far I've used it on metal.

I expect that I'll get a lancelot type cutter for wood some time

Thanks for the review, CLiff.
