Another chapter/weekend has come and gone.  Seems they are coming faster and faster.  Too many projects and too little time.  DID manage to get a few completed this weekend, however, did not get the finish on yet.  \

A couple of crosses were picked up  and put the finishing touches on a special retirement plaque.

How about the rest of y'all?????  What got  you all fired up this past weekend?  I know something got you going.

Got the finish on some rolling pins.

Also finished up the light Mimi wanted for the living room-

She found the glass globes at the Blue Borg but of course the hanging hardware was silver instead of brass. Spray paint solved that. Then all of the hanging cord sets were silver instead of gold- Amazon to the rescue for the zip cord and then back to the Borg for some porcelain sockets, crimp-on eyelets, switch, plug, ceiling hanger, brass nut and brass chain. The ceiling medallion is made from Red Oak.

Time Traveler and Purveyor of the Universe's Finest Custom Rolling Pins!

These started out as 7 to add names for Christmas tree ornaments. Well..... The list is now up to 18!

They're stack cut on the scroll saw 3 at a time out of 3/8" stock.

With the weather turning cold, 30* outside, I had to put them under a heat lamp to keep them warm enough to paint. It's back to keeping the wood in the basement where it's warm, up to the shop to cut, glue etc. and then back to the basement to finish them.

Also got some blanks glued up to make some crayon trucks out of 1" x 4" pine. That list is holding at 2 for grand kids and 2 more for next springs Farmers Market.

I wish these projects would come up when the weather is warmer but I'm getting my exercise in by going up and down the stairs!

Wow guys looking good. You all got some really nice things finished this weekend.

No woodworking for me. The Dudleston's and us just went site seeing and to the auction. I had to watch talking to Ron cause when I would answer him by nodding my head I kept bidding on things I didn't want.
