November 7, 201312 yr Although the camera-ooski died, again, I still was able to get a few things done.  Just no photos, drat. Small Pine table with shelf:  All four aprons, even the two that were remade, now sport a curvy edge. Even had a sander thingy in the drill press to smooth the curves out. All four aprons now have tenons milled on their ends. Hand sawed to a line, chisel to pare away the waste. Straight edges on the tops of the aprons have a slight champfer to their edges.  A few passes with a plane was all that was needed.  One leg now has two mortises chopped.  A second leg is in the leg vise on the bench.  Laid out the area for the mortise, handsaw the waste, chisel to finish up. Stainless steel screws on hand to attach the finished legs to the bottom shelf.  Still moving at the speed of smell.. A small hand plane came in the mail today.  A Millers Falls made for Sears Dunlap #3DBB.  Lots of rust in some spots.  Base looked like it had been already stripped, and a coat of primer added.   It is now a nice black colour. Iron is being sharpened up. Handles will need some work, not too much. Just a general cleaning up.   Just to take my mind off of other things going on...Planer? I'm the 'planer', and these are what I use...
