November 7, 201312 yr This is my just finished segmented (Purple Hart and Yellow hart tree) Â ornament. It has over 50 pieces all glued up in a precise order and turned down on my mini-lathe. I saw a Youtube video of one and decided to make one of my own, with a few alterations. It came out OK but there are several things I would like to have come out better. I see there is also a small crack on part. It is approx 7" high. Overall I am happy at my first attempt. My wife loves it and that is the ultimate test.
