November 14, 201312 yr comment_7573 I decided that the greatest gift I could give my grandchildren is a Heritage. Every family gets one of these horses for Christmas when the first child is born. This makes the 4th horse I have done. Each horse is named after a candy. Technically this horse goes to my niece who lived with us for 5 years. That still gives me 3 more horses to complete. We have 7 kids (3 of mine, 4 of hers) & grandchildren so far!. A few things learned ... let your wood dry for about 2 months prior to cutting... December 4, 201312 yr comment_7577 I went back to look at your horse again and was surprised at my lack of response toward your workmanship and work quality. That was my intention, but somehow I forgot or hit "add reply"  thinking I had said how I felt about your project. That is one beautiful job!! Even the finishes, colors and trim are outstanding. I envy all your future grandkids and their horse. I don't think that model was available when I built mine, it sure would have been #1 on my list. I would have been happy if mine turned out half as good as yours.Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!! Report
