November 25, 201312 yr I finished the restoration of the 2nd of the Stanley Bailey No.5's I have picked up. Well it is almost completely finished. I still have a few more grits to go through on the sides and bottom to have it with the finish I want on it, but other than that, it is ready to go. this one dates to early 1900's. I'll have to get you a closer date tomorrow. I forgot to take the pictures of the frog and blade to give you the details. Anyway here it is before and sorry these are not good before pictures, I thought I took more than this when I got it. And here it is now after the complete redo. And here it is along side the other one. This one is on the right and it is little newer than the one on the left. Thanks for looking. I have another one that I have started the process on and will make sure I get better pictures of it. November 25, 201312 yr Author I know what you mean John. I really needed to wait but while I was waiting on glue to dry I worked on most of it. November 25, 201312 yr Nice work John. I still have all of mine to do as well but like John H I think I will have to wait til after the 1st of the year before doing those. I gotta keep making pens and toothpick holders for sale until the holidays end at least.Charles NichollsSite Hostnicholls61@att.netProud supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project, Homes For Our Troops and the NRAhttp://www.etsy.com/shop/nichollswoodworks
