Did not do too much over the weekend other than spending time with my wife doing some shopping and some house cleaning. I did get all 5 of the children's rocking chairs sanded and ready for priming. I got a busy week this week with stuff happening every day except for Wednesday so we will see how much I can get done.

As long as the weather has been holding off, I've been getting a little ahead with firewood for the season.

We go from a week of highs in the 20's to a few days of highs in the mid 40's, strange weather continues they've got us forecast for highs only in the teens for this weekend today's supposed to be in the 40's.

I have a very ambitious weekend of woodworking planned and got absolutely no woodworking done. I had to take my mother out on Saturday and by the time we got back it was too late to start anything so I went to the auction to relax.

Sunday afternoon turned out busy with unexpected events and I got nothing done. So I will be down to the wire for First Friday and no time to spare. Oh well.

Work weekend, so not too much got done.    Been playing around with a few pieces of scrap wood.   2 pc of Black Walnut, and two of Black Cherry that was ll that is left from a 2x10 joist.   Might not compete with a "Moody original".     Did get the first coat of Mineral Oil on it tonight.    Just something to do..

Planer? I'm the 'planer', and these are what I use...

I got the 5 children's rocking chairs all primed and moved out of the garage so I could get started on making a large batch of cutting boards. I will deliver 2 of the chairs tomorrow and will be shipping a 3rd out next week once I get it all boxed up. I have 2 left over right now but I think that they will find a home soon.

Here is the lumber for the cutting boards straight from the lumber yard.

Here is the wood all cut up and ready to start on the first glue ups. I will be tied up Thursday and Friday so no shop time until Saturday.
