Call to Duty

We have been called up to duty. Let me start off by saying thank you in advance, I know when we put out the call to converge around a veteran who has reached out to us, we always come through in flying colors. Some of our projects are small, and some are large in scope, and big in meaning. For those Patriot Woodworker's and friends who have been with us for any length of time you all know that when we are presented with a request to help our veterans, we will typically jump at the opportunity. From fundraising to purchase a shadow box for a retiring Naval Chief Petty Officer, to building Challenge Coin Displays and sending them off to our wounded troops in our nations military hospitals, to jumping into a project to build homes with Homes For Our Troops, to even outfitting an entire shop full of machinery and tools for a young Marine Lieutenant who was blinded by an Improvised Explosive Device. You can view our efforts at this link A Marine Blinded in Battle, and a Woodworker's Quest to Get Back in the Shop. The proceeding link reminds us of the wonderful things we accomplished last year about this time, around the holidays we helped a young Marine start up a shop with the extensive help of our supporters and friends alike.

Now we have that opportunity once again. This is becoming a yearly event folks. Around Christmas time, the powers that be bring us a disabled veteran, who just needs a little hand up, not a hand out.

Now is your chance to help yet again! The Patriot Woodworker Wants You!

Thank you for your support guys! One of the best ways we can help at this point is to get the word out. Share it on your facebooks, post it on your websites, if you have a contacts in your email address book, please send an email out to all your contacts with the link to Marks Page in it. Do you belong to a local woodworking club? Announce this to them at the next meeting. The message needs to be spread.

Thank you so much for your support, and thank you for being here.
