Great job John! You are catching eyes my friend.

Let's all give big John a round of applause for his wonderful article he wrote on an old hand plane, you can find that at Throw Back Thursdays 12/12/2013. Of which garnered attention from Frank Byers of Woodcraft, and he re-published it on their WoodshopDemos.com site!

Very nice article John, you really hit on a treasure. The main thing being your knowing enough about tools to have the curiosity to keep it out of the burn pile.  A rare find like that will keep us all on the lookout.  Thanks for sharing.

Yea John!!! Way to go, buddy.

Wow Shane that does look a lot like it. Better check it out and the one behind it. They made a lot of moulding planes.

Robert not really. It is in pretty good shape, but I don't think it is close to mint. I saw one similar that was around 80.00 but I also saw some that were around 300.00. So I'll have to check a little further.

Right now to me it is priceless.

Congratulations John! Nice find! Do you have any idea what it would be worth? Sounds like it would be pretty rare.
