December 27, 201312 yr I ran across this vintage hand grinder and was told it wouldn't work. You could turn the handle and the grinding wheel didn't turn. You could spin the grinding wheel so it wasn't stuck. I took it apart and checked the gears inside and found them in great shape. The nut was loose on the inside gear from the outside handle so I tightened it and put it back together. But some oil on the gears and well here I will show you. I have another grinding wheel I will put on it, but here is another one of those you can save from the scrap pile.
