John Moody
Happy Valentine to all of you Patriot Woodworkers. Hope you have a great Valentine day and didn't forget the card and gifts for your valentine. So this weekend I will be continuing to work on the Cherry Chest and to try to get inventory ready for the opening of First Friday's in Florence which will begin on the First Friday in March and run through the First Friday in December. So I have all the pieces for the sides and ends glued into small sections and ready to put together to make the large panels. I am also trying to get a small TV shelf painted for a friend, but the rain and weather have been a damper on that. I managed to get five large cutting boards glued and through the first sanding this week even with the weather we had. Up and down temps along with sleet and snow. Believe me when I say, we don't do well around here with sleet and snow. I had several long days at work to keep things going but I am ready for the 70's that are forecast for our area next week. So what is on your Patriot Woodworking Agenda this weekend? Building up inventory, making new jigs, organizing the shop, attending the auction, or just enjoying a peaceful valentine weekend with your favorite valentine? We love to hear about your projects and really enjoy seeing the pictures of the projects you are working on. So get with it and post those projects here and tell us what you are working on. Oh by the way, I am heading to the Zip City Auction on Saturday night. It has become the weekly entertainment. Zip City is a very small community just north of me. It got it's name by a merchant there many years ago when he said, "Nobody every stops, they just zip throug John MoodySite Administratorhttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com“Don’t make something unless it is both necessary and useful; but if it is both necessary and useful, don’t hesitate to make it beautiful.†Shaker Saying John MoodySite Administratorhttp://www.johnmoodywoodworks.com“Don’t make something unless it is both necessary and useful; but if it is both necessary and useful, don’t hesitate to make it beautiful.†Shaker Saying

John Hechel
I have a lot this coming week. Tonight it was escaping the cold and snow of home so we could relax on the patio with brother and sister-in-law. The rest of the week brings more of the same.
