We watched the game on the edge of our seats, the ending was an epic shootout, but what we did not see, and I cannot find on tape anywhere but it has been verified and fact checked, was TJ Oshie's comment back to Dejan Kovaceivic, a Pittsburgh Tribune columunist when he told TJ that he was a hero, TJ shot back off the cuff:

"American Heroes are wearing camo. That's not me"

I knew I liked this young man! There is hope for today's youth yet!!!

John - I'm with you.  I have been recording all their games.  This one I did NOT delete.  What a game - AND - that shootout was something else.  Almost as exciting as the 1980 game at Lake Placid.
