FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Laguna Tools Announces $25,000 in Product to be Given to Aid Wounded Veterans in 2014, CNC and Woodworking Machine Manufacturer makes Contribution through Trade Association Fund; Urges Industry-Wide Participation.

IRVINE, California – February 20, 2014 – Catherine Helshoj, Vice President, Laguna Tools, Inc., announced the company will donate $25,000 to a fund that will benefit wounded veterans. The company will make the donation through The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers® (AWFS®).

The AWFS is the largest national trade association for suppliers to the home and commercial furnishings industry. The organization will assist Laguna Tools in vetting and corroborating veterans who will benefit from the donation.

Laguna Tools has provided informal support to organizations that assist wounded veterans for a number of years. Their involvement with the AWFS stems from their desire to take advantage of the organization's strength and outreach throughout the industry.

When asked about the motivation behind the contribution, Helshoj replied, "Torben [Laguna Tools' President, Torben Helshoj] and I deeply believe that we have a moral obligation to support the people who have fought for this country." "We hope our donation to this worthy cause will encourage the woodworking industry to join us in establishing a formal support program for our veterans."
