Long Chess Set Journey.. Part 7

Featured Replies

Part 7 contains many images showing each set of Chess pieces after turning, but before final sanding and finishing,

The images can be paired up with the drawings shown earlier.

The first image shows a set of Pawns awating, as all the others, final sanding and finishing.  The details, along with an image of the screw jig I made for final sanding will be shown in Part 8.

The 4th image shows the very pretty Bishops with their characteristic slots in the head.  A future Part will show a simple jig used to cut the slots.

In a future Part, I will describe how I made the Queen's Spire and the King's cross.
