Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement dust port adapter for a Dewalt 735 planer?

Mark,

Is this the piece that connects the hose to the planer?

Yes it is Lew. I have been trying to find one on Ebay or other places, even Dewalt does not list it in their parts manual, go figure.

Levi that's what mine looks like but instead of the hole on the notch it has another notch

If you think this one will work, where would you like it sent?

I might be able to to take my dremel and make the notch on the other side. On the back planer the dust port hole has a little round rand tab on each side. You just slide it on and turn to lock it on Levi

Yeah that's probably the one because the side I thinking has another notch is shattered and I didn't get to see or feel it before it was like that. Thank you for finding it!!!!! I appreciate all your help!!!!

The 2 round pins on the planer side chip ejection port. One is fixed and the other is spring loaded so it stays "popped out". The plastic adapter hooks on by placing the adapters slotted hole onto the fixed pin and then using a punch (or the supplied blade change Allen wrench) depress the spring loaded pin and slide the adapter onto the planer chip ejector chute. The rotate the adapter clockwise so the fixed pin seats into the bottom of the slot/hole and the spring loaded pin pops out into the single hole. The remove the adapter- reverse the steps by pushing in op the spring loaded pin and turning the adapter counter clockwise.

Where would like the adapter sent??
