Three HFOT Veterans to compete in the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games

Alpine Skiing calhoun_sochiHeath Calhoun –You probably recognize Heath’s face from the AT&T and BP commercials that cycled throughout the Olympic Games. He’ll be taking to the slopes for the United States in the Alpine Skiing competition! Homes for Our Troops awarded him with a specially adapted home in 2010. Read more on Heath (pictured on right).

Sled HockeyThere are two HFOT veterans on the US Sled Hockey team – Paul Schaus and Joshua Sweeney. The entire team was featured in a documentary on PBS that aired a few weeks ago. Homes for Our Troops awarded Schaus with a specially adapted home in 2012.  The Groundbreaking for Sweeney’s home is scheduled for next month. Learn more about Paul Schaus and Joshua Sweeney.
