John , that sander should be a good one hopefully. Read some of the reviews on it. Couple weren't great but some were good . Think someone just got a defective one.

Remember you are also buying from Woodcraft, you are covered if anything goes wrong Mark, some of the best customer service ever. I think you'll like that lil sander.

Think you can also yes framing clamp for boxes and other things as well . Might end buying more in future.

Nope, no difference at all. Their guarantee is the same, the only difference is it's being drop shipped, most of their items are drop shipped Mark, remember they are mainly a retailer, not a manufacture. Most retailers operate this way online.
