You know what, I was having so much fun doing this plane, I lost track of time down in the Dungeon Shop!    Thinking it took MAYBE three hours to do the rehab, not countig the trip upstairs for stuff, and the "soak time".    The cleaner is a Citius based spray.   We use it at work to clean the junk off of our molds.    They have a second type of cleaner there, but it will flash rust cast iron, FAST.   DAMHIKT....

Wire toothbrush helped some, but the nooks and crannies in the frog needed a small, long, screwdriver, to scrape away the junk in there.   No spider nests, this time..

Just a Hardware Store Plane for the weelend warrior to fix sticky doors and windows.   Looked like  this one found a few nails, too.    Thinking Peck,Stow & Wilcox made this plane for Shipleigh to sell in the store.     Bargain plane, not quite the Keen Kutter line.   Might have been back in the 20s-30s era?
