May 12, 201412 yr comment_2499 Now that's warmed up a little and I can get out to the shop and make some saw dust, I cut the crosses out for Mothers Day. 1/4" Red Oak with a BLO finish. The tooth pick holders are out of some scrap pine ( what scroller doesn't have some scrap laying around ) and glued up to make a 1 1/2" blank. Harry BrinkBulldog WoodworkingMontana Report

May 12, 201412 yr comment_2504 Wow I guess I am going to have to rethink pine on turnings too, I haven't done much pine turning because i really didn't think it would hold up, but the color in these look great. I'll have to play with some and see.Charles NichollsSite Hostnicholls61@att.netProud supporter of The Wounded Warrior Project, Homes For Our Troops and the NRAhttp://www.etsy.com/shop/nichollswoodworks Report
