May 12, 201412 yr  Is a Stanley #5-1/2 Super jack plane.  15" long, with a 2-3/8" wide cutter.   Another Rusty & VERY Crusty Victim.  Ummm, yeah. Not a single crack anywhere on this plane.  Missing the bolt for the tote's toe, is about all I found.  Black painted Hardwood handles. Needed that "T" handled screwdriver to break some bolts loose.   This thing has been sitting a LONG time. Again, rusty, but no pitting seen.  Iron wasn't in too bad a shape, either.   This might take a day, or two?  Planer? I'm the 'planer', and these are what I use...

May 12, 201412 yr Author PIP:  After an aftrenoon in the Rehab Center with this planehandles will get a sanding, before I decide on painting them.  Sole was flat and free of pits and cracks.Sides even cleaned up nicelyiron was refreshed, chipbreaker even fit right.  Plane is missing a bolt for the tote's toe.  And i think it is getting mailed today.    Might be here this weekend.   Handles might be dry by then....
