Found a hidden stash

Featured Replies

I finally did a job I've been putting off for a long time. I have a 2 step stairs going from my garage into the house. I was going to build a new one, the old one was loose. It a plain jane deal and had gotten dirty and stained because it was unfinished. Clean up was the first order and I pulled every thing out. There is a 6 inch recess at the bottom and it was full of junk. When I cleaned it out I found a pile of peanut shells that was big enough to plug one end. That told me why I had trapped 9 mice this spring. I got it all built and reinforced. Looks good. As for the corner with the hidden stash.............it now has a little box labeled Decon

Now, whose going to clean up those peanut shells in the future? Poor mice. First you destroy their home, then you try to end their lives. What would PETA say?

Gopher snakes an Rattlers do the job around here. Wouldn't recommend that remedy in the garage, though.

Scared me when I saw the title, I thought you had found my lumber stash!

Ha I got you all beat for rat control.

When you have an infestation like at a dairy or chicken farm  trap enough live rats to get 50 or so in a barrel.

Leave them to it.

When they are all dead and eaten, but one or two, let those last two rats go.

They'll polish off the infestation.
