July 11, 201412 yr When "The Boss" (John Morris) announced the latest Challenge Coin build, he also needed a few displays built for a fund raising auction for Operation Ward 57. This silent auction will raise funds for the project and will be held on August 2nd. I agreed to build these ahead of the TPW build and at John's request Here they are. They're simple to build folks and very gratifying. These are 11 1/2" long by 5" deep, made of Indiana walnut and they nicely fit in a Priority box.

August 1, 201411 yr I'm in too!! Â Long time buddy Sandy Smith and I are working together on 36 displays. Â Rough milling is done, ready for slots, holes, joinery, and assembly on Monday. Â Then sanding and finishing later in the week. Â We'll make the deadline for sure. I hope more will join in though. Â There's plenty of time, and even if you only build 4 displays, it adds up and is for a great cause. Â So jump in!!Back to the shop,GeorgeÂ
