July 6, 201411 yr An eggbeater drill came in, all frozen up, and a little bedraggled.  Got it all torn apart, cleaned and oiled back upAh, yep. Everything works, but things look like they need just a little something addedah, maybe redo that red paint? From Rustoleum.   Not too badand, it still works!  Ok, also got in a Craftsman Stainless Steel 3/4' wide chisel. i did get the edge reground, and sharpened back up.   but, there was something else to be done.  The handle in front was an old file handle. Getting it mounted on my lathe took a few tries.   Finally got it to run almost true.  Tool rest was twice as long as the handle, and I couldn't get very close. Scraper chisel, a skew and a gouge, and a parting tool, for the shape.   Sanded smooth and coat of stain as a sealer.  Then wipe away the excessMight look a bit betterCheap way ro get a "new" chisel...
