  Well, it came as part of a deal, an old wood level, and a Eclipse nest of saws, one dollar.



Got to looking at the level a little closerning-imag0141-963-12.jpg?width=750Because under that old flaky red paint the farmer had put on itning-imag0142-963-46.jpg?width=750And that tarnished brass, there lurked a decent level.  Cleaned off the nasty red paint, shined up the brassning-imag0140-963-88.jpg?width=750Hardest part was cleaning around those vials, but, they still read true.ning-imag0141-963-78.jpg?width=750Hey, if anyone one know polishing brass, it is an old Black Boot Army Guy.  ning-imag0142-963-3.jpg?width=750Yep.    This is a SW model, made back in the 1920s.ning-imag0143-963-12.jpgThem vials are adjustable, too.    Might not be too bad a deal?

Sure looks better.  Don't repaint it if you don't have to.

Nice level Steve, the brass polished up nicely too. I love the adjustable level vile.

Steve that is an excellent job on that #3 SW level. That Cherry has a nice even look and you got the brass looking great!
