Hi to all! I'm new in the forum and just taking the advise to do an intro.

I don't spend a lot of time on the computer. Now and again I go searching for some piece of info related to woodworking. I've been a woodworker my entire life. I'm retired after spending 30 years in building maintenance and can now spend much more time doing finer quality woodwork. I'm hooked on woodturning!

I was wondering if the Patriot Woodworker had an online event calendar? I signed up to check things out. I'm chairman of this years Artistry In Wood show, which is held at the Sonoma County Museum in Santa Rosa, CA. I'm working to get the word out and thought I'd post up the info if you had a place to do it? Event information and entry forms can be found at http://www.sonomawoodworkers.com/

Scott, looks like you found our online event calender, also I went ahead and installed the calender below left of our site. Thanks so much for sharing the event with our gang here.

I am a new wood turner myself, and any tips and or advice on the art is greatly appreciate, you can go to Lew Kauffmans Wood Turners Forum and jump in there! Thanks for introducing yourself Scott.
