July 27, 201411 yr I've picked up a couple tools at auctions that I felt like I got a pretty good deal on. Â Earlier this summer I picked up a bandsaw ($80), a disc/belt sander ($80, 6x48, 12", with lots of extra belts and discs which I figure were worth well over the purchase price), and quite a stack of red oak shorts about 48" which I used for the baby crib ($40). Last fall I got a Bosch sabre saw for $40. Â It still had the original price sticker on it, $235. Â Sabre saws I've had before were Craftsman and Harbor Freight, and this thing blows them away, it runs so smooth. Â I used it today to cut a couple roof vent holes. Â Â A couple weeks ago at another auction I picked up a Skil circular saw for $30. Â I've never had one of the worm drives before and it is a heavy saw. Â I think it could use a new blade on it, but it runs really nice and follows a line good. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

July 28, 201411 yr Pretty good haul, Roy. I love my Skil worm drive. It has worked with me for 30 years and is still going strong.Gene'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton
