storing cutting boards

Featured Replies

what is the best/acceptable way to store cutting boards prior to sale/gifting.

time frame will vary

gifting being the shortest time. with sale ????

Just to be clear the boards are already oiled & waxed, with rubber/plastic feet applied.

trying to protect them from cuts & bruises.

the boards will be in a cabinet in the garage

temp range expected to be 40ish in winter and 80-90 in summer

glue seams should not be a problem---titebond 3

I thought of various paper products but am concerned that the paper will adhere to the board(s) and be a PITA to remove.

Bubble wrap?? but that becomes a problem with space to store them.

Also what position to store the boards? flat? on edge?

TIA
