October 26Oct 26 comment_382195 Good Monday Morning!Good Monday morning Patriot Woodworkers! What did you get done over the weekend, and what have you planned for the week ahead! Inquiring minds want to know. Please tell us what's happening in your shops, your life, and any events going on with you. Thank you for being here folks!Welcome New MembersTo view our newest members and welcome them to our digs, please see our Members Page, you can "Sort" by join date and click on their names and be taken to their profile page where you can leave a message of welcome. Thank you for making our newest folks feel welcome.Current EventsBy now we should be firing up our Adopt a Wounded Warrior Family For Christmas campaign, but I am afraid to announce that this year it's going to be impossible for me to get it off the ground. For such a seemingly simple thing to do, it really is time consuming but, very satisfying and for an incredibly worthy cause, I just won't have the time between moving across country and all the logistics involved for both the Warrior Christmas and our move at the same time. We are out of here on 11/10. And that date is approaching so fast, I am feeling a tad overwhelmed with the list of things yet to do, and all the packing still to do, it seems impossible to complete at this point. But we will! With all that being said, we would like to encourage everyone to contribute at other venues to help support our men and women veterans, disabled and active duty this Holiday Season. To help you with this, in a dedicated post I will supply some links to some vetted organizations that you can donate too, or purchase presents for the children of our service members and veterans. So stay tuned! Featured TopicsFeatured Video Report

October 27Oct 27 Popular Post comment_382212 Wife tripped over the weekend and fell on both knees. Went to orthopedist this morning and good news no breaks, just bruised and sore. Something I had never heard id to use pad to get some of the blood out of the area and reduce bruising .Actually the first thing this morning was to redo the brick at the highway where our road comes out. Kinda rough place to get out and gravel road makes it worse . Some folks just hit the gas and spin out making a hole in the gravel. I got the idea a few months ago to lay in brick (holes up) and fill with gravel. It works pretty good but I had added some and did not dig deep enough to give the brick support. This afternoon spent moving and laying brick pavers for the front walk. More on that tomorrow and maybe I will remember to get a pic. Report
