Going to be one of the last ones, client has been waiting for ages and it's just not worth doing even though they are fun.Far more satisfying than trying to sand the end down:And more accurate too:Then much later in the process, almost done:The bench is a cheap workbench I bought in a local junk store. Not great, but sturdy and a decent work surface so worth the money. Good enough for what I'm doing, but I do miss the proper workshop. Report

Ruger introduced them in the 1990's as a sorta Colt repro/update. I have done a few grip sets for these because the owner can remove the grip frame from the pistol and send it to me for precise fitting - something one can only do with a traditional single action. I started making these for my own Rugers during the pandemic when many of us had time to burn. It's a great way to use up pretty scraps that I never could part with 😀 Report
