A friend gave me a couple of chunks of oak Burl. It was cut wrong for bowls because the guy he got it from used to make bowls with a grinder. My friend has been making vases with it. I thought I would try a bowl anyway. It is end grain so I had to hollow it with pull cuts. I think it turned out ok. It has sanding sealer and no finish. It’s around 10” in diameter.
