Trying to get a few more planks down to the same thickness...so..

Pulled this back out...Idea being to plane the barky side as far down as I could, then a "finish" pass on the non-barky side..

Will need to plane one edge straight to run along the tablesaw's rip fence..

These 2 are over 5' long...others were pushing 6'

Some I simply cut in half to make things easier to move around..

This was the "Finish" cut....flip these around..

Had other "issues"

There are a couple more to "process"

Still needs planered, and 2 HUGE knots cut out...and this split cut off..the other one...

Already planed to 3/4" thick, and already had one straight (almost) edge

Had to fire up the electric Leaf Blower to clear out all the shavings

As it WAS ankle deep through here....wound up outside..

Where the grass doesn't mind...

Some boards are already worked over..

3 pc Shelf to hold the TP Dispenser and Laundry soap...nothing fancy..

Didn't really need a finish....and not sure what the Boss will decide, space was left underneath for a flip top Trash can...

Stay tuned...depending on today's schedule....I'll either be mowing the Hay Field (yard) or puttering a wee bit more...

Letting the Riding Lawn Mower ( and Me) cool down a while...found 4 more planks to "process" down a bit...

And the 2 up on the drill press...need to get them all down to 3/4" thick...so....

takes a while...but...

These are now all the same 3/4" thickness...there are still 2 planks, though..

4/4 ( at least!) x 6" x 6'long...used to be one long plank. May save these 2 to make legs/posts?

Leaf blower tried to clean the floor..

May give it another "go" later?

Cleared off the Tablesaw...

Might give it a bit of work, later?

This is just a small sample.

All those planks that I planed down to 3/4" thickness...

This USED to be a single plank, cut to make both a 1 x 8 and a 1 x4...

Some needed BIG knots removed...

Mainly, they all needed to have ONE edge straighten out..

In order to run it along the Tablesaw's rip fence..

Stanley No. 5-1/2c, Type 11.....

Because I intended to rip that edge off, anyway...

3/4" x 8" x 34" Ash plank...

Some...meh, I can always use a 1 x 4...

This one...had a split right down the middle...

Tried to square the ends as I went along, once both edges were Parallel and straight...

Some ends were a bit...rough..

End of the day, most of the scraps were sent out towards the Fire Pit...

I still need to "process" those 2 planks down to leg stock...walk around front...

Yes, I did use that Shoe..

Have you tried the Gripper (see that in the background)? I use mine a lot.
