A new wiki page has been created, this page will house interesting categories for our woodworking tools we use. It's bare bones and fresh, just like our Wood wiki page. Just as other wiki pages, you can access them by the pull down menu at the top of your desktop browser titled, "Wiki".

If you get a chance, interact with the History of Woodworking feature at the top of the page, I have been interested in using the H5P framework for displaying educational data about our craft, this is my first attempt that I created, with the help of the originator of the content "Wagner Meters". With their permission I used their research, and incorporated it into the H5P framework, and displayed at the top of the Material Processing page. Have fun!

A delightful video I loved. Besides the woodworking, the family history was fascinating, and the time period the film was shot, in 1980 I believe, just a fun short film.

Been one of those weekends where everyone else's emergencies were moved to the top of the list. And the week ahead isn't looking much better.

Prostate removal surgery on the 13th. Recovering well, but some inconveniences for a few weeks TBD, as some may know.

I went to an estate sale on Saturday and bought a Bauer 20V impact driver w/ charger ($60 value new) for $5. I built a rack for 3 cordless tools a couple of years ago but I had no where to hang

this new driver so I built a 5 tool rack this weekend.

I already had 2 Bauer chargers so I wanted to mount the new one on the wall on the other side of the garage but the charger has no keyhole slots or tabs for mounting on the wall so I had to make a wall hanging bracket for it.

Two wooden blocks pin the charger top and bottom and I bent some 16 ga. wire to hold it to the mounting plate at the top and bottom. the wires are thin enough that they don't get in the way when I slide a battery onto the charger.

So to male a long story short.............I was juts tinkering in the shop this weekend.

Today was a perfect day for some yardwork, I got the grass cut and all the edges done along the sidewalk & curb. I go see the Dr. on Wednesday to go over the results of the MRI I had last week for my shoulder, hoping we get this figured out.

had planned to build a 3 drawer cabinet for a friend, she changed her mind after i had ordered 3 sets of full extension, soft close glides, so they came yesterday, hauled them down to the shop this PM, to join other "spares" in my pile of stuffs. took some pics of my drill press table and posted those elsewhere. maybe someone can get an idea out of that mess.

Burned a tank of gas in chainsaw this morning. Then went back to digging out the ditch bank. Looks like the upper half is half done now. Was dropping the last bucketful when it started to sprinkle. Got about 1/4 inch of badly needed rain. Worked on several small projects this afternoon in shop . temp outside was in low 80's but just not perky enough to get out there.

I hope that comes out better than the one I did...torn rotator cuff. The surgery was not bad but the 6 weeks in a sling really sucked. So did the PT.

got an email from a friend last night, he wants to know if i could build him a gate for his fence. sends me a pic. ok, arched top, doable, pine, stained dark, spar urethane, and not able to see thru it. about 39x60....hefty.....stay tuned.
