We use square at our club for the big fair. I was invited to take part at an event at our local art center. I will need to get something that will allow me to accept credit cards. Anyone have a recommendation?

Square is free to use but pay a fee on credit card purchases. You also can get a free website and use their name or your own. You can set up your store for web (the free site) and use that to record sales. Recording cash costs nothing. You can generate reports of sales and since you place items in categories you can tell which items or areas do the best. They will provide a free chip scanner or you can buy others. I usually just scan the card on the phone as almost all cards now have scannable chip. If chip does not work you can enter manually but that also costs higher fee. The other benefit is they Direct deposit to your account.
