July 28Jul 28 Popular Post comment_379336 I know I talked about cutting rings in half for my bowl from a board to get more twist. I wanted to show how I do it. I made a sled for my bandsaw. I double sticky tape the ring to the sled and cut slow. I adjust the sled with the first ring on to cut center. After they are all cut I run them through the drum sander to true them up. Report

I buy the white cutting boards from Sam’s Club and cut them up to use as runners. They never change with the humidity and seem to be self lubcrating. I have never had a problem with one. Report

July 29Jul 29 comment_379361 The plastic in cutting boards is HDMW and will slide like it has wheels. I have it on some of my mitre slot jigs. Your resaw jig looks very much like an old Wood magazine model. Even with the jig I have never been able to get that even of a cut. Report
