I entered the art show at or local art center again this year. This year you had to sent in a picture to be jurried into the show. I received a call today telling me I was one of the winners. That doesn’t me first place it just means that I won something. They like to let us know because they like the winners to be at the awards banquet. I will find out July 24th at the dinner what I won. Here is a picture of my entry.

I got third place. First place was a piece of pottery, very nice piece. Second place was a friend of mine vase. She had a lot of wood burning on it and she is one of the best wood burners I have seen. These pictures don’t do either of them justice.
