Went with the wife today to a quilting store in Vevay, IN. On the way home we stopped at McFeely's store. McFeely's used to be in North Carolina (or maybe SC), then for a while was with a dowel manufacturing plant in Harrison, OH (right on the Ohio/Indiana line). FWIW, that plant used to be at a prior location just a few miles from my home on the west side of Cincinnati and they had a scrap bin where I could stop by and get cutoffs and shorts. Then McFeely's moved to Aurora, IN and now have a storefront in what used to be a bank and a neighboring building. The bank part was full of screws of all sizes, types, and quantities in boxes. The other part had a lot of tools from Kreg, FastCap, WorkSharp, etc. Unfortunately, I did not buy anything. I have a ton of screws, dowel pins, and (don't let my wife hear this) tools.
