June 26Jun 26 Popular Post Friday again folks.Looks like the "FUNS" not going to end. This weekend will be the start of helping Bruce clear out his Dads condo. So as I get ready to do a "FACEPLANT"What's on Your Weekend Agenda?
June 26Jun 26 Popular Post Started on a repair of our old picnic table. Seems it was too short for aging knees. Starting to feel like Tommy Silva on TOH, with every removed piece more damage is uncovered.
June 26Jun 26 Popular Post Finished setting posts for leanto extension yesterday. Thought it was a wash as a heavy rain came up when started. When I did the first section last year I had water in the holes and it was not bad wet. This year had 2-3 inches come up before inserting posts. Might get the beam on these next week.Today’s project is to work on a set of drawers for pantry. Man Church event tomorrow night and church Sunday. Temps up into 90s next week so probably not much outside.
June 26Jun 26 Popular Post Had the real estate agent come over two days ago, it's getting real now and the pressure is on, shooting for an August 1st listing, still have a few things to do in the house, and I feel incredibly lazy, but we'll get her done. Have one more side of the house to paint, and a few things to spruce up on the inside. We'll be pretty danged busy! Have a fun and safe weekend ya'll!

June 26Jun 26 Practically cut it with a knife. I remover as a kid when I would go out from a/c my glasses fogged and that is just what happened this week.
June 28Jun 28 Popular Post Worked on installing slides for shallow drawers in my mitersaw station. First went good once I figured out the steps, second went fine (and quicker than the first!), third is ok but needs a little adjustment (seems to "catch" the last 1/2 inch), and fourth doesn't have all the screws set as I ran out of time. Still need drawer fronts, but relieved to be at this point as drawer installs are typically a bit of a struggle for me. I used a plywood panel to line up the part on the case, and a spacer piece to set the part on the drawers once I figured out the placement. My shop helper was supportive but bored!
