Oh man o man you're going to love it!! I used to teach LV classes using that one. The feel as you make a pass is unlike any plane you've held! Enjoy!!

Lee Valley is hard to beat with pricing too.

John... EC Emmerich makes an adjustable wooden block plane that is awesome. Do you have it as well? Lee Valley sells it too.

I do not Rick, I only have the two ECE's thus far. But I think I am turning into an avid collector of the brand, Lee Valley seems to have the best pricing on the ECE's as well.

If you're going to get another EC Emmerich you have to get that block plane. Remember...LV will take a return and or refund anytime with no questions asked. Not many have their exceptional return policy.

I have no doubt Rick they are top notch, I can't think of a time I've ever heard a negative comment about their customer service and all around service, looking at the block plane now, it'll be awhile but I do think it's on my next to get list. I spent my retirement allowance over the last two months, I need to rebuild!
