Still riding the weather roller coaster here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" with temperature swings from the 40's to the 70's. Lately more of the 40-50 degree range.

Nothing special planned here for the Memorial Day weekend.

My granddaughter asked me to make her a wooden cross to hang in her room so I will be working on that.

My niece is getting married next weekend and I (got) volunteered to cook for the rehearsal dinner Friday evening. To add to the complexity the venue is about an hour and half from here. So this weekend is going to be getting the smoker out and cleaned up from its long winter nap and getting everything ready for transport. I’ve been told to expect 60 to 70 people for the dinner. On the menu is smoked pork tenderloin, chicken with a pasta salad, bbq beans, rolls and lastly some Mac and cheese for the kids. I always get a little nervous when I cook for a group and I got up this morning thinking about the phrase “plan your work, work your plan “.

Working on executive tops for my store. Guess I have slowed down since the last batch. Got side tracked with weed eater since was too wet to mow. Today just mow around the house and use chainsaw to cut some over growth in the ditch across the creek, maybe. Then back to the tops.

Pouring down rain for the last 3 or 4 days. Supposed to continue into next week.

Visiting with family and was gifted this Stanley Surform tool that belonged to my father-in-law. Needs some cleanup, but looks to be in good shape. Love tools with a family meaning/connection.
