Art show

Well I am working on my entry for this years show at our local art center. Close to being done but I don’t think I will enter this piece. To me it just isn’t art show quality. Going to have to start another piece. This one is around 13” in diameter and 3” tall. Around 6,500 burn lines and 6,500 squares. The bowl is maple.

I think it's amazing!!

Is it more difficult to do the illusion on the inside vs. the outside?

Yes. For me it was much harder to cut good beads. Thanks Lew.

Thanks, it’s probably me being too critical. I just feel I can enter something better.

Fantastic work Rusty! Original and beautiful. Love it.

Great looking piece and I like the progression pics. Don't beat yourself up we all have a thought process that makes us think we could do better and that is what gives us the stimulus to do better,

Certainly looks good from here. I enjoyed the step by step pics.

Really incredible work, I can’t imagine the amount of patience and skill that that would require.
