April 24Apr 24 I need to make a shelf or two for a 100 year-old house. There is little chance that the opening is square. I have seen jigs for laying out stair steps that have pieces on the end that will follow the taper and also slide to determine distance. Has anyone made one of these that can give some advice before I wing it? If it was on the floor, I could use tick sticks, but not up in the air.
